For those folks whose News servers do not carry soc.culture.jamaican,
you can access this newsgroup through a Web site run by Zippo Dot Com
Inc., which provides a direct news reader service at:
http://www.zippo.com
Click on "Society", then on "soc.culture.*", then on
"soc.culture.jamaican".
Alternatively you can also go directly to the "soc.culture.jamaican"
document with the URL:
http://drn.zippo.com/news-bin/wwwnews?soc.culture.jamaican
Zippo charges for access to some newsgroups, but currently
the soc.culture.* ones are free.
Posting & reading articles through Zippo seem to be delayed, probably
because they schedule these transactions in batches, so be prepared to
wait
awhile after you post for it show up.

The RJR InterNet Web Site
Participatory Design Process
[Image]
Hi There, Welcome.
We are trying to provide a fully participatory
Web Site design experience.
Our target audiences are:
1. The RJR Web Site Team & all other RJRstaff &
all our net friends
2. YOU:>All of you who are interested - even if
u can't help us now.
3. Those of u who have bombarded us with
questions & suggestions
[Image]
O.K. Here is how to participate:
First study this page, then:
1. Send your comments & suggestions by dropping
us a note in our Participatory Design Logbook.
Do this by filling in the form below.
2. You can also view your invaluable suggestions
plus the comments from other helpful souls.
(You'll be up in lights!)
3. Keep coming back for updates, such as our
ideas on the items below.
(These items will become live links to examples
as we get your help)
You can then examine these design features:
* site structure - as shown in the menu
listed in the left column.
* page design - One design is illustrated be
this (blue)area, from the "Welcome Home to
.." banner, down to the ReMNet/JOL Shopping
Arcade which is above the next section. We
need a colour scheme! Noticed?
* multimedia features - not yet,, but audio
to come first.
* interactive fora - e-mail, forms, JOL
Chats, discussions etc. .. more to come ../
* our sponsors - notes the Clickable ads -
above, below & on the left.
Room for more ... Interested?

Logbook, and your URL will be posted to
