My name is Geoffrey Dash from the US. I'm trying to form a link
from Barbados back to ?. I have seen a name from Ireland that is
D'Ash...but do not remember the whole name, nor where I have seen
it. I think the first Dash was Humpfrey/ Humphrey Dash in the
1600's. Does anyone have information on him or the Dash name? I
would like to know where the name is from. I understand that this
man had "jumped ship" but am not sure. I have been to Barbados a
few times and have met some of the Dashes and have seen Dash Valley
and so on. It would be interesting to find out more. Any
information would be greatly appreciated.
