I am conducting a search into the history of my Grandmothers Family. Any
assistance on the MACFARLAND's (Some documerntation spells it as
"McFarland" as well as "MacFarlane" etc.) and the BROWNS of Jamaica, Circa
1880's would be appreciated.

Grandmother: ADELA (aka Adel) MACFARLAND or MACFARLANE etc. born in Port
Royal, Jamaica, November 13, 1893.

Her father was ANDREW. Story is he was a Scotsman. Documents suggest he was
born in "England" unk date.

Her mother was MARY BROWN, Born in Jamaica and of African desent.

Adella married a man named DAWES, possibly with the First name GEORGE. She
and George moved to Mexico sometime around 1910. Dawes passed away in
Mexico and Adela subsequently remarried my grandfather and moved to the US.

Thank you in advance!!!
