Hello Fellow Searchers,

I am seeking information regarding the names of contractors who
hired workers from the Caribbean to work on the Panama Canal between the
years: 1870 - 1914. My deceased-grandfather was one of those workers.

I am specifically interested in locating a copy of any list of
names
to search for his name. I was informed that all workers were hired by
private contractors, and "not" by the U.S. Government.
