Hi, all...

Because of my public genealogy pages I am getting an email almost every day -
sometimes two a day - asking the same questions about Caribbean research in one
island or another (which I answer as best I can).

I plan to create an FAQ page to refer people to - that everyone else here can
use in the same way, of course - and am soliciting contributions for content so
it can be enjoyed by everyone in the community.

My own plan is to include:
- address of my CARSURDEX (Caribbean Surname Index)
- address of my Caribbean Genealogy Resources pages
- sign-up instructions for the Caribbean-L and Caribbean-D List
- address of the Rootsweb Island Forum Index
- address of the Rootsweb Surname list/s

The FAQ would be in the form of Question and Answer - the most frequently asked
questions first, followed by concise but accurate Answers (and suggestions). It
would be headed up by an index of Questions, so the Answers can be long - if
that is necessary.

Having done the appropriate research I also plan to create another page with the
LDS microfilm numbers and descriptions for Barbados - if anyone has the film
numbers and descriptions for other islands I would be happy to post them, too.

Questions? Answers? Suggestions? Comments? Are there any legal issues?

I welcome - and value - all input.
