Hi Dorothy,
Thanks for info.
I wouldn't say I now have time for my research, but there seemed to be a lull in letters so thought now would be an opportune time to try to fill some gaps. Have not done anything on the German side for at least 6-8 years, but have found what can be found from our records I think, but not where in Germany the Brandts came from, so I can try to do research in Germany.
Yes, I have Madeline Mitchells book. Re her references, I read Carl Seniors research many years ago, and even corresponded with him, but one of the groups he had no details on was my set... Murphys Law as usual .... There is a lot of research on the Seaford Town settlement, but haven't seen any on the Freemans Hall group. I found their baptisms etc in the Copy and Parish Registers, again, of course, all except my great grandmother, found her siblings though....
Up to 2 months ago our Morman center did not have a computer, hence no IGI indexes....I have only heard about them, never seen one....They don't even have a reader with a copier!
Thanks for your help
Cheryl
