Finding information on Cuban genealogy is very difficult for obvious
reasons.
One trick that I use when I hit a block, is to go backwards. i.e.. your
starting point is Fla. and your destination is Cuba. It will require quite
a bit of reading, try church records for the year in Fla. that may mention
the name of a person that left for Cuba. Maybe newspapers, passenger
list,.shipping documents, any commercial documents for the name,
It is possible that the persons became business men in Cuba and trades with
the US. Did family mention them years later, did they visit?
Those are some of the things that I do to try to get around the block.
