Subject: CHPI Proposal...

My initial suggestion here seems to have been well received, so I have put much
of my brainstorming on the web...

Please bear in mind that nothing is etched in granite and that I am completely
open to any and all suggestions which contribute to making this a thing vibrant
and alive with potential (as opposed to a thing dormant).
I am also looking for people who are willing to help with planning, and who may
be interested later on perhaps in even going down to the Caribbean and giving of
their time - who knows, something may even come of all this.
But it's thin air right now. The main thing is that the people involved MUST be
people of action, even if they need a few moments beforehand to consider their
actions. Committee-sitters and navel-contemplators will do no good here.
There will always be a core of people behind the scenes knowldegeable and
experienced in overall planning, practical objectives and politics who will
guide this ship through the ocean of distress and disappointment. But I am sure
that - if it gets started - it will succeed.
The Discussion Forum linked to that page is for those brave enough to discuss
this in the open and add to the long-simmering proposals, suggestions and
guidance that (may) be now exposed to the sunlight.
Invite professionals, friends, colleagues and acquaintances to join in... the
more the merrier. There is no registration or log-in required, so you can assume
a new identity (a "handle" or "alias"), correspond and say your piece/s in
complete anonymity.
A cookie in the Forum software (benign and untracked by me, I assure you) will
keep track of your assumed alias, so you need not worry about forgetting what
name you last post as.
Lurkers, beware... we may yet hear your voices!! You have been warned!!
