I'm told that since the transfer of the operations of the Panama Canal
records relating to individuals who worked the canal have been transferred to
the U.S. Here is the information I was provided:

For construction day records:

National Archives at College Park

After construction days:

National Personnel Records Center

(Civilian Personnel Records)

111 Winnebago Street

St. Louis, MO 63118


Send the names and birthdates (if you have them), approximate dates of
employment.


I'm told that they are slow -- so don't hold your breath. They charge for
Xeroxing and postage.
