Hi Steve and other Listers,
There were many CRUICKSHANKs in the late 1700's and early 1800's in St.
Vincent. I have collected the following :- Baptisms 67 - Marriages 12 -
Burials 27. These include the name James in several generations. Please advise
if you require this data.
I have not been specifically collecting info on CRUICKSHANK but I recall :-
- Mention of several in Charles Sheppard's book entitled "An Historical Account
of the Island of Saint Vincent".
- Perhaps mention in Oliver's "Caribbeana" at the bottom of the Obelisk of St.
Vincent.
- Someone mentioning plaques of various families on the walls St. George's
Cathedral, in Kingstown.
