Thank you. I have been told that there is information kept about the old
regiments at the Public Records Office. I have asked a professional
researcher to look up the service record of our Lieutenant at the Public
Records Office but so far there has been no word from him - he did say it
would be 6-8 weeks. If you would like me to give you his e-mail address I
will be pleased to send it to you - he charges £15 an hour and said that he
expected to take 3 hours based upon the information I supplied.
