Bristol handled roughly one third of all west indies trade with England
although by 1830, London was rapidly dominating. Bristol also had been a
major base for British slaving prior to emancipation, with Liverpool and
London the other major players.

could very well have been the officiating minister at the wedding of Henry
Cerf and Elizabeth Wint, at Newland, Gloucester, England, September 10,
1826.
