Hello Robin,

This bit about Winnifred saying her father came from Belgium seems
interesting to me, since you know I have been trying to find out certain
things about Henry Cerf in Brussels, unfortunately till now without much
succes. Except that I was given a link to Micheline Gutmann, whom you
said you know too, I believe. I may have a chance to see her in Paris
end of next week.

I have been abroad for a few days and when I came back I saw there is a
flood of new messages on Cerf and suddenly the attention is veering to
Wulff. I am afraid it all gets a bit muddled. I am now reacting to a
number of these messages. I noticed in particular Dorothy's comments,
which I believe make much sense.

I believe it should be possible to obtain data from the archives in
Berlin, I have been in touch with them earlier and I could look up what
they have and how far back they go. I am pretty sure that would include
Spandau, though probably not Dantzig and that place in
Schleswig-Holstein, that I could not find anywhere.

Robin, I don't know if you or Richard could give me a concise and clear
overview of what you have and what you need to have researched in
Belgium and Germany. I would try to have a go at it if I know exactly
what I should be looking for. That includes Deby, mentioned in other
messages.
