Subject: German motto: the verb "tun"

With all due respect to the other listers who have posted versions of the
motto, I do believe that it really does read: "Deine Arbeit mit Eifer tue"
/ "Do thy work with zeal/enthusiams", with "tue" (thue) being the singular
imperative form of the verb "tun" (to do), to accompany the familiar &
singular "Deine", ("thy") which is used instead of the more formal (polite &
plural) "Ihre", ("your").
