Vieques is a very small island which is politically part of Puerto Rico. A
large part of its territory is controlled by the US Navy. I doubt that there
is a Vieques archive-- the island is too small and there is no local
government per se. Certainly when I was there I did not notice an archive.
I would guess that any historical documents from Vieques would have found
their way to the University of Puerto Rico. But I doubt that anyone at UPR
writes in French. Nor is French still spoken on Vieques. This sounds like a
question for Richard Bond....
