If you sign a release form when you send in your test they will tell you the
names and email addresses (assuming they have signed a rlease as well) of
your 12 marker, 24 marker and 25 marker matches. They will also tell you
broadly speaking the country of origin of your matches.

the FAQ at www.familytreedna.com explains in greater detail

the company is a spin off from the U of Arizona DNA project and they have a
database of 20,000 people ..

Maybe an elementary question, but how does one go about connecting with
the DNA of one's family line after receiving your DNA reading?
