Hello Edward and List Members,

Regarding the Jamaica Gleaner, it will be searchable once it is on
line. The newspaperarchive.com web site calls itself, "The world's
first, largest and busiest website of fully-searchable historic
newspapers."

Additionally, I made another find. If you have Scottish and English
ancestors, and have an idea of where they came from. A number of old
directories are on line and electronically searchable at this site. The
site is http:///www.historicaldirectories.org
