Subject: [Carib-L] Wishart and Cover of Jamaica

I found this group, when I was searching for members of the Wishart
and Cover families of Jamaica, and found a couple of entries from a
few years ago. My husband is the son of Leslie George Wishart
(Dudley)(approx. 1908-1969) and Cecilia Louise Johnson (1913-2000),
both of Brown's town Jamaica.

Leslie George Wishart's mother was Eva Cover, his father Wilhelm
Wishart. Both of them must be from around 1875-1880, at a rough guess.
The Wishart side of the family origin from Scotland, but we are not
sure from where or when they landed in Jamaica.

We are trying to trace members of both the Cover and the Wishart
family, and would be extremely grateful for any information.
