GRANVILLE PONSONBY - Commissioner of Police - St. Vincent.
Can anyone advise me on how best I can get information on Granville Ponsonby
(born 1854 at "The Vicarage", Canford, Dorset.) and who was sent from
England as Commissioner of Police for St. Vincent in the latter part of
the 1800's (perhaps between 1870 and 1885). He married
Mabel McFarlane Jackson of Jamaica on June 10 1879. I would be interested
also, to know if there were children of this marriage.
Thanks,
Richard Facey.
