It is not that my software is filtering out attachments - it is not
receiving any text (other than that there is an attachment)

I note that several subscribers have said that they have never received
attachments from Richard - I have never (to my memory) received any
plain text with or without attachments.

I do not use MSIE which may automatically convert Richards "attachment"
type post to readable on opening.

It is only Richard with who I have this problem. All other posts come
through as text, though some of them also have the HTML code below the
text - not as an attachment, and a few come through as HTML code only.

I don't know what I am missing in Richard's posts, but I will continue
to do so unless he sends in plain text (with or without attachments)
