I'm honestly not sure. His son, Frederick Augustine Carleton Jr. was bor March 23, 1918. From what Fred Jr.'s wife told me he was from N.H. and took the name Augustine on his death bed so as to have Religion as he passed into the next life. I'd be surprised if it is the same person I need, as he would have been in his 60's when Jr. was born. I do believe that Sr. died when Jr. was very young, though. So far you are the only lead I have. Any info would be helpful, so as to prove or disprove. Thank you.
