Hi Cynthia

With family research I know that we try and solve all the families at the
same time, but if you try and stick to the one line initially - the wall
will finally crumble -

So pleased that the Edmund 1841 census was what you wanted!! I found their
marriage entry in my indexes in Pembrey Parish Church - this is not the
transcript only the details.

29th April 1821
John Edmund and Mary Williams Pembrey parish church

I looked in my index of the 1851 census and they are still in Gwscwm John is
69, Mary 48, Elizabeth 16, William 13, new additions Jane aged 10 and David
age 7.

I also came across the following burials:

30th April 1856 - John Edmunds Gwscwm age 74
16th April 1875 - Mary Edmund Gwscwm age 74

I do not have his baptism, because our indexes only start from 1790-1833 for
Pembrey I have'nt got further past this yet, the registers would have to be
viewed for this.

speak soon - glad I could help you

Pauline

Hello, Pauline,

Have just read my mail and excited and extremely grateful to find you had
sent me details of John Edmund, re 1841 Census, Pembrey. No, I haven't
the marriage of John Edmund and really would appreciate these details,
too, if possible, Pauline. I cannot believe, after so long, that perhaps
one brickwall is showing some signs of cracking! How wonderful, and
many, many thanks.

Kind regards,
