Hi Pat,

Thanks for that BUT Carmarthenshire Reg. Office have already done a 5
yr.search including, I presume, this particular reference and could not find
my Gwenllian. There are 2 other 2 yr. old Gwenllian Jones living in
Llandeussant according to the 1851 census hence my request for anyone with
access to church records in case there is a baptism recorded. The IGI has a
Gwen Jones born to a John Jones & Margaret in 1848 & another to an Eleanor,
but I wondered if there were other Parish records.
My comment about Mid Powys Reg. Office followed the remarks that all the
records had been shared at some time between them & Carmarthen. However I'm
pretty sure that Margaret has found the right the families on the 1841
Census so I must put up with not finding the official record of Gwenllian's
birth!
