Hello Caroline
I worked for a solicitor in Llanelli named Glanville Davies and I do believe
his father was William Davies as there was a portrait of him on the wall as
a Mayor. Glanville Davies died a few years ago but his son Anthony
(William's grandson) practices and has carried on the family name. The firm
was known as Davies & Jenkins 10 Queen Victoria Road, Llanelli but now known
as Davies, Parsons & Allchurch. Hope this is of some help.

Oh sorry really should look at notes before sending messages his name was
William not Thomas, known as Willie.

Hello all

According to my mother Thomas Davies, solicitor, was twice Mayor of Llanelly
somewhere between 1930s and 1950s or thereabouts. Does anyone have
information relating to him? Anyone with a connection? He was my
grandfathers cousin apparently.
