Hi Trevor,
Mary Richards (nee Morris) married John Owen on July 27th 1887. In 1891
Mary and John were in Ferndale with Mary's youngest (so far as I've found),
John Richards. In 1901 John Richards had upped and left - married and
living in Treherbert at 4 John Street, I believe - but then blind William
had moved in with them at their new abode of 38 Brook Street. Mary is a
conundrum to be sure! Just what happened to her and John isn't known. Yet.
But I'm working on it.
Oh. My job, when I left London two years ago was Traffic Engineer.
Gridlocks a speciality.....
Stuart

Hi Stuart , This Mary Morris you are talking about
In the 1841 census you say she was in St Mary St and in 51 she was in
Spurells yard with Blind William .David ,and John , Margaret Morris (widow
of David Morris b 1775) was my ggg grandmother , these are her children not
sure of John, I emailed Pauline with the Birth dates of this family because
thats all I have from research that was passed on to me from a cousin ,
Could it be that your Mary and mine are the one and the same????
Sydneys great except fot the extreme heat occasionally , the polution all
the time , the gridlocked traffic all the time ,the late or non arrival of
trains all the time , but used to be brilliant, the lack of reasonable
carparking, . I am speaking of 64 years of experience. I use to think it was
the best place on earth till I woke up one day and moved to the Gold Coast,
its a bit hotter but its great .
Talk to you soon I hope .
Cheers Trevor
