Hello Mary

St Peters is the parish church of Carmarthen - St Peters was also the name of
the parish - I gave you a list of all the chapels in Carmarthen in the last e-
mail, look under Independents it will give you the name of the Chapels then.

Remember that in some cases people prayed in various houses if they were non-
conformist until they had a church/chapel to go to.

Therefore when you see the name St Peters it is normally the parish. The
parish churches in all cases are Anglican churches (Church of England) which
in turn are named after the parish they are in.
