Hi Kate
According to my "Rhestr o Enwau Lleoedd" (Gazetteer of Welsh Place-Names
to people like me), Aber-banc is a place in the parish of Orllwyn Teifi
in Cardiganshire. The trouble is I can't find that parish in my list of
Cardiganshire parishes.
Anyhow I found it on my OS map and it is on the A475 road about 2 miles
east of the village of Llandyfriog, between Newcastle Emlyn and
Lampeter.
If you choose to visit the area some time the Teifi Valley Railway (a
preserved line run by volunteers) is less than a mile south of Aber-banc
in a village called Henllan.
