Hello Carol A

Welcome to the list - I believe you have been lucky already - in encountering
Judy Hand from New Zealand. She is a member of Carmarthenshire FHS, and a
Lister, and she is researching William HAND the same as yourself. I hope you
can help each other - this was a very interesting family to research!!

Quite a few people on this list (and we are still newcomers) have met family
through their questions and research, they have exchanged interests and
information - that is what it is all about - getting to know one another -
this internet has done more for family history than anything else - do you
all agree out there???

I have found this with family history, there is always more than one person
searching the same family - the most common ones I have found for this area
are the Gravell's of Kidwelly/Pembrey - you can't even pass the graveyard in
Pembrey without someone looking for the Gravel's headstones!!

If you have any questions for the list Carol - please ask - we are all here
to help one another.
