Pauline, thanks for the info on wills.

Yes I have contacted Judy - we are emailing each other, and she
mentioned William remarrying, and his occupation as commissioner.. She
didn't mention William's father was William an architect!! I have a
reference in a deed circa 1820s to "John Hand, elder, of Molleston",
and found a death entry in parish records for John Hand, died 15 Dec
1829, age 77, abode Molleston, and had assumed he was William's father.
I am going to email Judy again.
