Dear Terry,
Many thanks for your response to my query.
I will certainly check all this out. I can also do more research when I
am next in Wales, which will be October/November (World Cup Rugby)!!
Best wishes.

Dear Irene,
I am assuming this is the same Bird in Hand, perhaps you can connect some of
the details, it is in solicitors deposits from Llandeilo in Carmarthen
Record Office (as yet not assigned permanent reference numbers).
12th December 1863
1. Henry Harries of Cumllechach in the parish of Llanthoisant, farmer.
2. David Edwards of the Bird in Hand in the parish of Llandilofawr,
victualler.
3. Thomas Nicholas of Pentreparr in the parish of Llandilofawr, esq.
Repayment of mortgage of £500 on the closes called Tyryrgof or Tyryrcefn in
the parish of Llandilofawr, formerly in the tenure of Gabriel Morley, now
Thomas Williams.
Note: original mortgagee David Edwards was unable to repay the mortgage,
loan was repaid by Thomas Nicholas.
Previous Indentures:-
1. 15th July 1852
2. 11th March 1854
Unfortunately the two referenced indentures do not seem to be available to
provide any more information.
