I have just joined the list and perhaps do not know the correct
etiquette, so forgive if I presume too much. My father's family is from
somewhere in or near Llanelli, Wales. My grandmother's journal says
that our earliest known ancestor was a Reese Thomas from
"Carmardiganshire" (born 5 April 1821); and continues to state that he
married an Ann Solomon from "Kidwelli." After the birth of two
children, they sailed to North America in the mid-19th century. Can
anyone help me find out more?
