Pauline
A couple of subjects which would interest me if anyone can add to my
knowledge of them are "Child Labour in the Woollen Mills" and also the
"Labor Strikes in the Woollen Industry". I know child labor was the norm
and the conditions and renumeration was disgraceful but I would like some
documented facts if available. Also the strkes were of major importance in
their time so there must be material available somewhere relating to that
subject. There is much written of child labor and strikes in the coal mines
but I haven't found much regarding the woollen mills in the Carmarthen
district. Hopefully others on the list will also be interested.
Thanks a lot.
John.
