Hi fellow Listers,

I have been contacted by a fellow Yank searching the origin of this
name. He has found two present day Creels listed in Llanelli. The only
Creels shown in the 1881 Census were from Wales-Llanelly. I have
suggested that he telephone one or both of them. Anyone have any idea
from whence the name derived? My full blooded Welsh grandmother, aged
98, and her family knew Creels in our area of Indiana from the late
1800's, but she didn't know what their heritage was...just that they
were in agriculture in this country. Thanks, Elaine.
