David,
Cydweli is Welsh spelling your map might be in English spelling which is
Kidwelly.
Kidwelly is on the coast between Llanelli -(Llanelly), which is on the coast
west of Carmarthen, and Carmarthen.
Running west from Llanelli the villages are; Burry Port, Pen-bre| Pembrey,
and then Cydweli|Kidwelly.
About 2 miles north north east from Cydweli|Kidwelly is a small|tiny village
called Llangadog.
It's about half way between Carmarthen and Llanelli.
