You may have seen Pauline's letter to me. here is the vital bit she
found out:
"I think that I have found the marriage for you in St
Catherine's Index - find
below:

September quarter 1839 Haverfordwest -
Ann Harris 26, 769 Haverfordwest
John Davies 26, 769 Haverfordwest

These two numbers are the same thus indicating that this is the marriage
we require."
I am asking Pauline to get me this certificate and we shall find out
directly what I was bothering you about. Sorry,Pat. You have enough to
do. If you do see them(and near a james?) maybe we'll find out more from
1841 census but there is no hurry. At least I'll have their father's
