Hi Seimon
In 1851 census Narberth Enumeration district, Parish Mynachlogddu, Folio
122 page 12 schedule 46
Simon Phillip age 22 born Cmn Llanglidwen
I also have Phillips family from this enumeration district who also
ended up as Phillips but in 1851 and earlier were Phillip. At first I
missed them in St Catherine's index.
Maybe you checked for Simon Phillips and missed Simon Phillip which
would have been in a slightly different section??
By the way there was no other surname Phillip at that location so
possibly he was not yet married (narrows the search down a bit) I don't
know who else is in the same household - if anyone - I would have to
search the whole fiche set.
Incidently there are three Anne Evans in Mynachlogddu ages 16, 18 & 19
who might be a candidate for his wife - if she came from the same place
that is. (Folio 127 page 22 schedule 95 for both 16 year old and 18 year
old ; folio 120 page 8 schedule 29 for 19 year old)
By the way - is this your Mary Thomas in 1881? I have been looking at
this family because of the Hannah Beynon step daughter.
