The parish you are looking for in Radnorshire is Llanbadarn Fynydd. The
records for this parish start in 1696 and are at the National Library of
Wales. The Powys list is the one you should post your queries on.
As far as Llanelly (Carmarthenshire) is concerned [there is also a
Llanelly in Breconshire] the records of St Elli's parish church start in
1684 and these records are at the Carmarthen Record Office.
As your John Morris was born about 1677 it would appear that a record of
his birth probably does not exist.
I do not believe the non-conformist churches were a force at that time -
if they did exist they certainly weren't allowed to marry anyone -
everyone had to marry in the parish church at that time.
