Dear Pauline

Thanks for the offer of a marriage lookup. William Evans appears to be my
only Welsh relative and the information I have came from his NSW Corps
Description Book which, unfortunately, doesn't list parents so I think
finding a marriage would be impossible at this stage. I also suppose there
would be a zillion William Evans born in Llandovery c1753/54. I am hoping
to get to the local LDS soon to order the film for the 1st Dragoon Guards
which he joined, presumably in Wales, which might actually give parents'
details. Until then I'm totally in the dark. If you have any other avenues
to suggest to find out more, I'd love to hear. Thanks again.
