Is there anyone out there who would know why a Revenue Cutter, The Swan,
would be attached to Lord Neslson off the coast of Spain in 1803? My GGG
from LLanelly was on The Swann as a Deputed Mariner, a rank that gave him
the authority, under his commander to seize contraband. (It is believed that
in 1807 he was captured by the French of the Lizard - and I wanted the
French to win the Cup!).
