Hi all,

Just come accross a certificate that depicts the formation of a Society
called "The Sociewty for the Protection of Anthracite Miners" in
Carmarthenshire and Breconshire.
The certificate is dated 1891 and states that all transactions shall take
place in the Tregib Arms, Brynaman.
The Society secretary was Enoch Rees (who wrote Hanes Brynaman).
Wonder if anyone out there has heard anything about this Society.
