Hi Meryl,
Thank you so much for your, as ever, helpful reply, I have searched the IGI
C100751, and found only one, useful, John. I wish I could get down to the
graveyard, but its just not on. I feel that the 'High Church" must be at the
very other end of the spectrum from the Independents, don't you? They would
have thought of even St Martin's as much too high!The biggest difficulty
seems to come because the non-conformists did not recognize infant baptism,
and soseem to have failed to make records. We must live in hope that there
are some records somewhere. Thanks again, Oliver
