Hi Pauline
Sorry I missed the point you were making on the death of Maria of/in
Bristol. I'm not 100% sure that she is mine. However, the age fits and
there can't be too many Maria Evans in Abergwili. I think the DFHS fiche of
Abergwili gives place of death, not place of birth. My other GG grandmother
is listed in the same fiche, as Mary Anne Malyn of Bwlch Cottage
(Abergwili), where she died. If it gave her place of birth I could move
forward on that line! She would have been listed as either from London or
Kent if it related to birthplace. That question may be answered in the 1851
census.
I look forward to being able to buy a copy of your 1851 for Carmarthen &
Abergwili when you and Richard complete that monumental task.
