Hi Sylvia
What is the source of this information?
The marriage I have between John Williams and Elizabeth Jenkins took place
in Laugharne parish church on 7th May 1829......it does not state they were
from Llanelly.....have you looked if these are in Laugharne in 1851 to
eliminate them??
It was not unheard of for a girl of 16 to marry - but if so, the marriage
would have stated with 'consent' of parents.
Let me know why you think this is them which such common names.....and we'll
try to eliminate or prove otherwise.
regards Pauline
