Hi Sylvia

To find out what the maiden name of Elizabeth Williams was you could
purchase a birth certificate for her from Llanelli registry office.....the
youngest child in 1851 was 5 months old, so you have an approximate date of
birth, which I am sure Llanelli could find the birth for you.

I think that the marriage I gave you is the correct one - year is correct -
why were you given the one from Laugharne I cannot understand, when both
were from Llanelli......was it a local researcher you used??

I've looked in the baptisms of Llanelli for a possible one for an Elizabeth
William/s - but lots and lots of children in Llanelli were not baptised in
the parish church.......most of mine are missing as they were
non-conformists.

1812 3rd April Llanelly parish church
Elizabeth William dau Walter and Mary, lab collier, Glyn hamlet

1826 29th Sept Llanelly parish church
Elizabeth Williams dau Thomas & Joyse aged 11 years old, abode Cilwrfa,
occup Mariner.

let me know if this helps

Pauline
