Yo, Yvonne,
That`s very kind of you, but I think I`ve got all I
can from the graveyard.

Just give my best wishes to " Owen Harrys, Esq., of
Dderw Farm, who for many years filled the important offices of churchwarden,
guardian and also surveyor in this parish, who died 15 th June, 1886, and
the rest of the family.", a raised stone on the left of the path that goes
anticlockwise around the side of the church.
Fortunately, they had moved on to fairer pastures
before the army came along and requisitioned Dderw Farm, one of 40 that they
took to create the army range on the Eppynt.
Thanks for the reference to the booklet, I`ve looked
in the Powys Cronicl and still can`t find it there

Best wishes,

Ceri.

Hi Ceri,
The booklet is - Brecknock: Monumental Inscriptions of the 16th and 17th
Centuries. D. Leitch. It cost about £2.50 when I bought it about a year or
so
ago. Mike MacSorley is the person to contact. His email address is
. There are no records for Llandeilo'r Fan, Llangammarch or
Llanwrtyd but there is another Jeffreys reference for Llywel that I missed -
'Jonet wife to Howell Morgan Esq the daughter of Thomas Jeffreys of
Keven-Rosser in Llewell gent. They had issue Morgan Thomas and Elizabeth.
She
died 1 day of January 1680 [Postscript] It was 1687 and ye 3d day.'
I'm going up to Llandeilo'r Fan graveyard soon - anyone you'd like me to
look
for?
Yvonne
