Subject: [Cmn-L] MC Deceased Father's Name
Date: Fri, 19 Jul 2002 15:45:15 -0700 (PDT)
On my Grandfather's MC, his father's name and occupation are listed, but is says deceased below.
I would think that maybe they forgot the "deceased" or nobody told them when filling out the information for the record.

Hopefully one of you knowledgeable people will know the answer to the following Question.
I have recently received the MC of John Perkins and Margaret Owens, the Father of John is named as David Perkins occupation Farmer, however this marriage took place in 1843 and all else fits except David died in 1833.
Is it possible that a deceased fathers name and occupation are still used on the MC, or am I now looking for another David Perkins in 1843.
What do you think Listers ?
