Hi Alun

There was no Howell Davies baptised in Trelech ar Bettws parish church pre
1875......

Could not look up in Carmarthenshire, as there are about 78 different
parishes......have you tried the IGI on-line?

If you have a mothers name you could ask in the registry office, if they
have a birth for him..
