You have both of their names so you could send an email to Carmarthen
registry office enquiring if they have their marriage in their database.....

Give them an approximate year and they will do a 5 year search for you, if
they do have the marriage they will give you the number you need to purchase
it from them.....

fatherGeorge LEWIS came from Carmarthen .He was a stone mason . I have him
on both the 1901 and the 1881 census but the ages do not tally .In 1881 he
is 35 with wife Margaret 30 both born in Carmarthen ,Carmarthenshire.They
have 3 children Mary 6 born Llanelly ,Charlotte 2 born Carmarthen and Evaly
(Eva Louise?) born Loughor 2 months old .In 1901 I have the family in the
Ystradowen area but George is now 60 ,Margaret is 50 and Mary 26 works close
by .They have 3 younger children living with them ,whilst Margaret
LEWIS(junior) is 16 and working on a farm close by .I have asked the
Glamorgan list for help with them on the 1891 census- hoping to find the
family with a complete brood of children in the Llantwit Fadre area- but no
luck .So I'm hoping someone on the Carmarthen list has them in their tree .I
believe Margaret born about 1851 in Carmarthen was a JONES and that she
married George LEWIS in Carmathen in 1873!
