Hello Pauline,

Thanks so much for your response. This is my first try on doing any
research in Carmarthen, so I don't really know what I'm doing. I have been
on the Glamorgan list for about 10 months & am just starting to become
familiar with the area. Believe me, it is not easy to research in Wales, but
the records are 1000 times better than we have in the US. It is just so
difficult to find the Parish. Do they have the BT online that I could
review? I was hoping to find Thomas on the 1841 census in the Vaynor area,
but didn't know that the 1841 Upper Merthyr Tydfil Census was missing. I'm
OK coming forward, but having trouble before 1851.

At the moment I have 3 people from Carmarthen
Jane Unknown-CMN LLANGADOG [c1801) This certainly isn't much help.
Rees Williams-CMN, b. c 1824
and
Thomas Williams. The following is from the 1851 Glamorgan Census

David (still living)
Married
Isaac, Ann, Age: M (minor), Single, Father: Isaac, William

If you ever need a lookup in Vaynor let me know. I bought the Parish
Registers, and Thomas Williams marriage is the only thing I could use. So
if you need something let me know.
