Hi, Pauline,

My question about the possibility of a child being born at Llannon and
baptized at St. Peter's Carmarthen was generated because of the following:
1) I searched the BT's at the NLW for St. Peter's and found a baptism on
Sept. 5, 1810 for John, son of David and Jane Morgan, born August 22, 1810.
2) From later census data, I know that the family moved to Merthyr Tydfil.
Looking at the 1851 Glamorgan census, I found a John Morgan of about the right
age who was a collier (father David was a miner).

I'm just trying to reason whether it's possible that the 1851 census entry
(John Morgan born Llannon) is my John Morgan baptized St. Peter's.

Thanks for giving this some thought!
Darla
